I have several things to say. One, if you are hot, take a cold shower. Or else just stop complaining about it. When I lived in Mexico we did not have air conditioning and somehow I survived. Two, is it possible to accept that Mexico won the World Cup? I think it is just Americans being upset that they went all that way only to get second place.

This means Mexico won, si? I thought that something was wrong with my television but apparently it happened everywhere. But did you see the match?? It was so good! I thought I saw someone almost fly, but that is stupid. People do not fly.
I do not usually wish to be back in Mexico but imagine the parties! Fortunately (or is it unfortunate?) my boss has assumed that we are all Mexican and gave everyone on the morning shift the day off.

I cannot believe someone would blow up an ATM and leave all of that money. That is foolish. Anyway, I know I am a citizen now but I was born in Mexico so lo siento, USA, but my fútbol loyalty belongs to Mexico. I will end this by saying ¡VIVA EL TRI!

Happy Father's Day. I do not know where my father is. I did not know him very well anyway. My older brother was more like my father, but I do not know where he is either. To everyone who knows where their fathers are today, you should be thankful. Whenever my mother wanted to know where one of her children was and they were not answering her calls, she would ask one of her other children, "¿Donde está mi hijo ingrato?" Do you want your fathers to say that about you?
I did not think so.

I am excited about the Beyonce movie. When I was working in California the girl who was the daughter of our neighbor told me that she was going to be the next Beyonce. I hope that she made it out of California even though I do not think her singing voice was that great. She could hope to be the next back-up dancer for Beyonce, I think! Anyway, I would like to go see this movie. Maybe I will sneak into the theater after work? >:)

I am excited for this new subway service! I have lived here for five years and I still think that the subway is confusing most of the time, but soon it will run all night! Duke, this means I will not have to worry about how you will get home after midnight. :)
I do not think I will be able to last much longer at Señor Pedro's. The food is not good and I do not like the many "Hola, chica bonita"s that the men think it is okay to use when I am at the register. It is like they learned Spanish from the iHolo Translator App. I do not know where else I would work though. I know it is hard to find jobs, I do not really have any job skills except for cooking.
